Spokane County Hoofprints 4H Club welcomes you to our Stroke Stampede Ride and Run 2009!

It involves a team of either 2 people and a horse OR 2 people and a bike. One teammate starts out on foot walking/running.  The other teammate starts out on a horse or bike and rides to the first mile marker where they hop off, tie the horse or park the bike and start walking/running to the next mile marker.  When the original walker/runner gets to the horse or bike, they hop on and ride to the next mile marker.  They continue this leapfrog pattern to the finish line. Each leg of the race is approximately 1 mile and the total distances to choose from are 5K, 10K or ½ marathon.  It is similar to a Ride and Tie and Muddy Buddy event and it is  happening at the same time but NOT on the same trails!  We invite you to join us on Sunday, September 27, 2009 at 8:30am for our 2nd annual year of fun and help support stroke prevention.

Cooperating agencies: Washington State University, U.S. Department of Agriculture, and Spokane County. Extension programs and employment are available to all without discrimination.  Evidence of noncompliance may be reported through your local Extension office.
